It is no secret that I love autumn and quite like winter too really! So, even though it's still quite hot here, my thoughts have been turning to my autumn/winter wardrobe. I fell in love with the
Canopy shawl pattern by Mandarine's and it was a quick knit, taking over just two weeks. I used Alpaca yarn bought from
Holland Road Yarn Company and it is so soft with a little bit of fuzz to it.
So there's the first addition to my autumn/winter wardrobe! I am beyond words with how much I love this pattern and how I am really looking forward to wearing it when the weather cools.
Wishing you a wonderful week. Wendy xx

Love your shawl, it is beautiful and a lovely colour. I really enjoy knitting shawls and have a couple that need blocking. Have hiccupped a bit with that as I have trouble getting down on the floor to pin it all out. Would like to invest in getting some "tiles" which look pretty amazing. Will have to do some enquiries re where to get some from. Always enjoy seeing what you are making Wendy. Hug, Shirley.
