Attic24 and joined the two circles together with double crochet. The cowl is a pattern from here and was a quick easy finish. Mine is a bit thinner than the original as we don't have super bulky weight yarn in NZ but I have worn it a couple of times already this week and am really happy with it. And lastly, I finally got a photo of Charlie in the dress I made her here. It was a dull day so the colours are not true, the blue is really a navy. She looks pretty cute in it I think! It is Charlie's school banquet tonight and she has just come home from soccer, red-faced and muddy, and we were laughing about how she will be transformed from that to looking like a princess later! Isn't Charlies dress perfect! Cute cushion, perfect on his quilt.ReplyDelete
I like your cowl, do you like them better than a scarf?
Lovely projects Wendy. Smaller finishes are just as satisfying as big quilts, especially when our kids love them. Charlie looks very cute in her dress, and I am sure tonight's transformation will be fun. I hope you can show us a pic. I like your cowl, I prefer them a bit thinner.ReplyDelete

A busy creative week for you. Love the crochet cushion. Had to smile at your cat in the photo, not being the star he turned his/her back on Charlie in her lovely dress.
Enjoy the rest of the week.
Wow you've been busy! Charlie's dress looks great. My garden is sadly unloved and mostly very soggy at the moment just waiting for the rail to ease up so I can attack it before it takes off in spring.ReplyDelete
